* One of the largest production facilities for Aurora(ACBFF)is at Mountain View County. The cannabis plants are grown in “biosecure facilities” to ensure that the company complies with the inspection standards of the Canadian Government. The plants are first placed on rockwool after which they are cut and transferred to growing medium. After some time, they are transferred to pots that can hold two gallons of water. When the branches are long, they are trimmed from the base of the plant so that the cycle can start again. When grown enough, they are harvested by hand and the buds are chopped coarsely to make them uniform and easy to use. Third parties are then invited to test them for safety after which they are moved to air flow chamber where they are cured. The temperature during curing is maintained at 25 degrees Celsius. After that they are packaged and they will be ready for distribution.
