When researching, it is important to understand the difference between a literature review and annotated bibliography. While a literature review and an annotated bibliography summarize and analyze information from various sources, they present information differently.
An annotated bibliography outlines the sources separately, then each source has a description. In this regard, the description provides details regarding what the author or authors have examined in the research paper (Brownlie, 2007). Generally, an annotated bibliography consists of five or seven sentences with a summary, evaluation, and reflection concerning the particular source. Further, sources are listed alphabetically.
