Control Account Plan
A control account plan (CAP) is a tool used to construct a plan for all activities and labor that will eventually occur inside a control account. Each control account plan consists of common, unique, and particular components.
In most cost cases, developing a CAP starts at the beginning of a project. This is to provide a clear roadmap to all participants in the project of their roles and responsibilities (Verzuh & American Psychological Association, 2021).
