Start with an introduction.
Using examples from the interaction between the team members in this scenario, respond to the questions that follow in a 2- to 3-minute audio-based response. You will first write a script, including quality responses that address all of the following questions and integrate information from the readings and videos with your own personal experiences.

It is the cornerstone of all beneficial and progressive collaborations between workers and seniors. It highlights the level of respect and accommodativeness in diversified settings since diversified ideas are commonplace in such institutions. The way individuals express themselves, including their tone, articulation, and pitch variation, is critical in professional conversation (Cardon, 2017). Moreover, their nonverbal cues such as facial expressions, body positioning, and other gestures send essential information about their perception of the context and other individuals. Thus, embracing appropriate communication techniques is invaluable for promoting positive and impactful professional interactions in company meetings.   The functioning of teams depends on diverse elements that influence how individuals express and conduct themselves during interactions. An institution’s general cultural practices directly determine these aspects and distinguish between effective and ineffective team characteristics (Guffey & Loewy, 2018). For instance, in the former, balanced discussions allow everyone to participate in the generation of ideas, members listen to their workmates, and decisions follow the collective agreements of the unit. Moreover, despite disagreements, members are comfortable facing the conflicts and working towards sustainable solutions as a unit. However, the latter is replete with uncontrolled discussions where some individuals dominate and suppress the contributions of others. Members override and ignore the ideas of their peers because they do not want to listen to them, which leads to premature decisions. The worst feature is that conflicts remain unresolved, leading to their suppression or worsening due to a lack of agreement. In the Imagine You volunteers team meeting, one can classify the encounters between the different players, Jim, Nan, and Laura, as ineffective team performance. Jim presents an idea-imposing attitude, while Nan is an opposing participant who fails to consider all ideas. Moreover, she is also uncooperative. In this context, it would be necessary to advise all the team members to have a positive attitude towards all floated ideas and encourage objective assessments and critiquing (Cardon, 2017). Moreover, I would emphasize that everyone should maintain a respectful tone and word choices while referring to other team members or their ideas. As a result, they should only provide constructive criticism without bashing each other or sounding rude. Adhering to these requirements would offer a conducive setting where the members can interact professionally and develop appropriate solutions.
