The study used primary methods of data collection including surveys and questionnaires to investigate how mindfulness and decision-making style may predict vocational identity and career thoughts (Galles et al., 2019). The findings from surveys and Questionnaires show indicate that people with increased mindfulness and those with thinking-based and internal-decision-making styles have reduced negative career thoughts and increased vocational identity levels (Galles et al., 2019). These methods of data collection helped to determine the reliability and validity of the study.
