Within my organization, integration of health and wellness services is very effective because it makes employees healthier and more productive. It also controls the rising health care costs, improves employee health behavior, reduces elevated health risks, and improves long-term health (Goetzel, et al., 2014). Employees who benefit from these programs are highly motivated and committed to working for the organization because they are confident that the company values their health. In other words, health and wellness services build and sustain high employee morale, improve employee retention, and improve employee job satisfaction. In other words, integrating health and wellness programs create a suitable working environment for the employees.
