Taking advantage of opportunities leads to growth
Guiding my brother through his learning process, playing with him and observing his focus day to day forced me to cope patiently with young kid's habits and develop a very calm stature unlike how I was easily agitated in grade 8. These opportunities helped me not only to grow as a person, but build my characteristics and realize the true potential anyone could have by making mistakes and learning again.
This is the theme of the narrative.
Here are the instructions:
Do not attempt to develop all elements in your essay. Completely develop the elements that you do wish to include. For example: write a story of setting, character or theme, not all of the above; introduce a few characters and develop them completely.
Don't start with your activating circumstance. Set up your story before you begin.
Write an outline or story board.
Have a theme, or message that you wish to say, clearly state it and prove that it is worthwhile by means of writing a story. Have an implied thesis throughout the narrative.
Choose your point of view carefully and keep it consistent throughout.
Use dialogue. New dialogue- new paragraph. Move your story along through character's actions, thoughts, and words rather than as the narrator giving a play-by-play of what is happening. Show don't tell.
Use descriptive language and imagery to transport your reader to your setting.
