While advocates dedicate significant amounts of time and energy promoting causes, they often struggle to clearly identify their logical positions. To further the problem, in light of clear arguments advocates commonly utilize informal fallacies to persuade their target audiences. These weaknesses tend to create easily avoidable communications crises. The first step is to identify the communicative problems.
For this assignment, identify a social issue you are personally interested in learning more about, advocating for the cause, or are against it, and identify fallacious reasoning.
In 750-1,000 words:
Research an advocate (individual or organization) that promotes a relevant social issue. Identify the organization and explain the relevancy of the social issue.
Show the steps you took to translate the position/argument you researched into a clear logical form by writing out the logical premises and conclusions from the material presented by the advocate.
Identify a minimum of five informal fallacies that are made by the advocate. Explain the fallacies themselves and how each functions.

The Girls Inc. is a non-profit organization founded to act as the voice and direction for young girls in 350 cities across the United States and Canada. It has an evidence-based program delivered by trained professionals focused on sexual development, support, and mentoring. The girls are encouraged to value themselves and develop skills to become strong, bold, and smart. With a pro-girl environment and continuous affirmation, girls are equipped to navigate social, economic, gender, and personal responsibilities as they grow into self-sufficient individuals.
In modern society, girls need the right information to decide about their sexual health and bodies. Often, girls with the least information are the most vulnerable to situations such as sexually transmitted infections, unplanned pregnancies, and intoxicating relationships. Consequently, Girls Inc. advocates for non-shaming and LGBT-inclusive and quality reproductive rights CITATION Sco16 \l 1033 (Skinner-Thompson, Law, & Baran, 2016). Abortion is the main issue of personal concern among its catalog of advocacy. It is a firm believer that all women have the right whether, when, and which circumstance to bear children. They believe that reproductive freedom and responsibility are critical to helping women pursue education, employment, and financial security.
"Girls inc. is a non-profit that indoctrinates girls, so they become pro-abortion advocates." Its philosophy predicts that despite the young girls being smart, strong, and bold, they will one day end up lying on a table in front of an abortionist. These are the words of Douglas R. Abortion in the United States is a complicated matter socially and legally despite being legal. Permit for abortion is subject to the three trimesters of pregnancy. However, recently, states such as Louisiana have joined other states in legalizing an anti-abortion measure. The legislature bans the abortion procedure as soon as the mother is sex weeks into the pregnancy. Such bills have supported a wider movement of anti-abortion in the country.
