She would not have engaged in sexually promiscuous behavior if she had not frequented bars and had too much to drink. Do you think this is just a convenient excuse for her behavior?
Because sex is one of our basic human needs, controlling the temptation to have sex may be difficult. In the instance of Rita in the narrative, she justifies that if she did not drink and hang out at the bar, she would not have as much sexual interaction with various guys. This might be a good reason if she is forced to do something she does not want to do, but she also likes and enjoys it. Finally, she would not have had much sex with many guys if she had not had many bars and beverages, and her excuse is somewhat right.
Do you think that getting a certain form of behavior "out of my system" is a good reason for doing something you don't feel is right?
It is not because you can do many things to make yourself feel better without breaking the law. They can do their hobby instead of doing things that do not seem right if we are talking about "getting something out of my system." On the other hand, Rita picks the incorrect path to cleanse her system. Which makes "out of my system" beneficial if and only if you believe you are doing the correct thing.
Do you think people can engage in behavior that's "not me" because they enter a world that's different from the way they are and "go along with the crowd"?
