In your last journal entry, you reflected on and wrote about what you expect to learn throughout your capstone experience. In the Global Summit, you introduced yourselves and shared some of your strengths.

• Where did you encounter struggles or challenges in your work in this module, especially in the Global Summit?

Reflective Journal
Based on my experience, having teammates or groupmates does not necessarily equate to increased productivity. That is why it is important to have objective phases to follow to attain a higher productivity rate, regardless of the activity. I find the group development theory by Dr. Bruce Tuckman really helpful for a team to function efficiently and work towards the same goals. Forming, storming, norming, and performing also helps map out the possible scenarios and expectations when working with a team, and at the same time, it smoothens and helps provide solutions to different scenarios. The importance of creating meaningful connections, effective communication, flexibility was also highlighted, in addition to these the attributes of group identity, trust, and a sense of group efficacy led to a healthy interpersonal EQ. I also like that it promotes the individuality of each member while also making it work for the benefit of the whole team. It identifies the strengths and combines them so that the group can do the performing phase in a positive and successful way.
I enjoy this module because of the learnings and new experiences that it brings, but I have also found some parts of the course challenging. The course is developed differently and I am still in the process of learning the linear layout and phase of the course activities wherein I have to check the four subcategories every week.
