My Plan for Achieving a Nursing Job
Introduction:
A/G: As a determined and self-directed person, I have been sowing through learning and active knowledge acquisition in my nursing course. Since you can only reap what you sow, I'm optimistic that greatness in my career awaits.
S/P: I'm prepared today to talk about my plans and projections for achieving a nursing entry job.
C/I: There are several attributes that a nursing student must possess to experience a smooth entry into the job market. One of these is excellent and exceptional communication skills since the role and duties of nurses rely on their ability to uphold effective communication with team members. Another costly attribute is being endowed with problem-solving skills to tackle issues that may arise in their day-to-day responsibilities towards their patients. Other attributes include being committed to patient advocacy, being willing to learn, possessing critical and creative thinking capabilities, and good leadership skills.
V/S: Being selected for a nursing job is like a mountain that all students must be willing be climb with optimal positivity and zeal. It is not usually automatic that one will land a perfect nursing job just by closing and opening their eyes.
T: I will address my plan to achieve a nursing job and enter nursing programs.

* Hiring Managers need adaptable and flexible nurses who can adjust promptly to any working conditions and unforeseen changes such as the Covid-19 pandemic. In the interviews, I will strongly express my ability to be flexible and adaptable through several strategies:
1 I will be open to working in all departments, including the intensive care unit (ICU). Looking back at the Covid-19 response in 2020, several cases filled beds in the ICU. Nurses who had no prior experience in ICU experience were forced to learn and adapt as quickly as possible. Preparing myself to work in critical care areas will help me to be adaptable and flexible when an emergency arises.
2 I will be open to understanding new needs in hospitals. Nurses are usually forced to learn new positions and roles to address hospital needs during emergencies. A nurse must be willing to adjust in times of crisis.
