Poverty and the level of education can lead to a vicious cycle that is hard to break. Many poor communities have no finances to educate their current and upcoming generations, which make them have a dull future. Members of the elite group continue to rule the world by taking jobs in government and top leadership positions since they are highly educated. These individuals have enough money, which is the reason why they take their children to the best schools in the world. In other words, they secure the future of upcoming generations by ensuring that young people get a high-quality education. When it comes to seeking employment, poverty is not a gauge that is used in the job market to enable the less privileged communities to compete with highly educated children. That is the reason why indigenous people in Canada might remain in poverty for an extended period. The traditional education where young individuals obtained life skills through observation, oral teaching, and practice is no longer relevant in the digital era. Even if the federal government emphasized education in residential schools to reduce the dependence of aboriginals on hunting and gathering, these communities could not afford since they suffer from poverty. The poverty theory makes it clear that higher learning institutions in Canada require more money for students to finish their study programs successfully. In particular, since aboriginal families receive low incomes for the lack of knowledge and skills needed in the job market, it becomes challenging for them to break the poverty cycle.
