Disembodied Spirits are Responsible for Ghost Experiences

Essay Instructions:

Before beginning this essay, read Chapter 7 - "Case Studies in the Extraordinary", from the textbook. Choose one of the hypotheses discussed in the Chapter 7 reading (ie, "Alien beings have abducted several people and interacted with them", or "Ghost experiences are caused by disembodied spirits", etc), and then apply the S.E.A.R.C.H. method to that hypothesis. Your discussion should be built on but go beyond what is in the Chapter 7 reading. You may also choose to investigate a claim that is not in Chapter 7 - if you do, be sure to check with me about the hypothesis you would like to investigate first.
Your discussion should be in the form of a developed and well structured essay, and defend a clear thesis (is the hypothesis likely or unlikely to be true, and why?). Be sure to cite any outsides sources that you use.
Your essay should be at least 350 Words long (longer is fine and encouraged). You should also reply to at least two of your fellow students, and offer substantive replies. Be sure to reply to at least one student who wrote on a different topic from yours.

Noteworthy, since ghosts are disembodied, it means that they can be seen or felt. The environmental factor of electromagnetic fields and spooky sounds puts things into perspective as far as embodied spirits are responsible for ghosts’ sightings. Dagnall and Drinkwater (2016) argue that the phenomenon of low-frequency sound waves (infrasound) is responsible for people being able to sight ghosts wearing clothes even when there is none. It contends that infrasound results in feelings of nervousness, discomfort, and vibrations in the eye that manifest into illusions. In this case, the brain is conditioned to record hallucinations and inconsistent lighting, which are specific scenarios responsible for unconsciously “sp...
