Ever since I have always seen myself as a poor writer. It had been a struggle a great deal due to the scarcity of the knowledge I had about the proper process of essay writing. This was however before I went through this course. The course has resulted in me acquiring vital skills that I will apply to my future writing.
Throughout the course, I have been in a position to differentiate between the do's and the don'ts when it comes to writing. I now know how to apply them in my writing. The several essay assignments have provided me with enough practice. I have also been able to extract the essential information from these assignments that has helped me perfect my writing skills. Also, the assignments have helped me spot common mistakes that I make in writing. I used to correct them in my subsequent assignments. I can't say that am perfect but am almost there.
I have drafted several essays before I came to this final one. I like the fact that each essay was different each time. I would have hated it if it was correcting the same essay. Writing of various essays each time has given me new perspectives towards issues. Ideas in one essay built into other ideas in the next essays. This has taught me to be an open-minded individual.
