Part 1: Learning TCP/IP Networking
TCP/IP networking includes the diverse aspects and protocols at the center of organizational intranets. These are essential implements that define the various criterion for deploying effective networking within organizations. The primary areas that need to be considered when developing or learning TCP/IP networking include efficiency, dependability, and the ability to grow or expand the network. Different concepts were learned through the uCertify lab. The first concept was how to obtain hardware information of the network adapter, which is vital in understanding the connection and any challenges experienced. Another aspect that was also included in the labs was understanding the IP version of a network adapter and obtaining the information about the different IP versions (Ponmaniraj et al., 2018). This is vital in protecting the organization’s network and ensuring consistency in its performance.
Other vital concepts exposed in the lab include net security system profile and how to get the TCP settings. This is also vital in getting information about the current connection statistics of the TCP, which provides information about the network scope, efficiency, and dependability across the organization. The lab also assisted in offering practical incentives for getting information about TCP ports and UDP ports. The aim is to understand the appropriate procedures to use when creating an organization’s network. UDP ports also have specific settings that need to be followed. Therefore, the lab exercise also provided information about the UDP settings and how to get information about the current connection statistics. Another critical component was to get information about the DNS and how to operate it across the organization. Ther...
