One of the things I value most in writing is utilizing the correct spelling and meaning of a word with multiple spellings and meanings. I have learned the importance of avoiding these minor errors in my work because they can be the most damaging. I have also known to proofread my work to be confident that it is flawless and free of grammatical or punctuation errors.
Plagiarism
I learned plenty about plagiarism and the consequences of doing so. I had no clue it was such a terrible offense until now. I do not plagiarize; however, I was surprised to learn that reusing a work written previously is deemed plagiarism. It is preferable to avoid plagiarism than to have to manage it later. Plagiarism awareness and prevention initiatives are far more efficient and successful than dealing with plagiarism's effects.
