Chapter 7 Evaluation: Small Group Work Approach

Most difficult or confusing ideas from Chapter 7:
1 How rules, norms, and roles in small groups can affect each member differently, yet, they have a common cause to pursue.
2 Are we supposed to focus on what effective leaders say or recognize their behavior used as the basis of real leadership?
3 Leaders and leadership are not the same.
Most controversial or hard to accept ideas from Chapter 7:
1 Not all small groups are meant to promote good and effective feelings despite people desiring to be in a group.
2 Not all small group members are beneficial to the group. It raises the question of their roles in the group and the selection criteria used.

1 Arrange ideas more clearly and effectively in point form since leadership is a broad topic.
