The colonial government was guided by the desire for wealth and control of the major parts of the world. In their desire to gain wealth and control of the world, they colonized several parts of the world. Several colonies occupied different parts of the world. However, the struggle and fight for power among the colonists themselves led to several disagreements among the colonists. The conflicts aggravated the American Revolution which marked an essential aspect in the history of the colonist. Notably, the British Empire were seen as the major causes of the failures of the other colonies due to their several desires. This paper shall present points on why the various factors that led to the North American revolution.
Before the war, the colonists operated with a lot of distrust among themselves. When it came to the time of the French Indian war, several colonies were not satisfied by the support that they received from the British government. Several colonies were envy against the British Empire who had emerged the winner, which meant more power and more territorial control. Also, several colonies had realized the power of unity among themselves and had resolved that the next big enemy was the British who had emerged victorious after the war. After the war, France was removed from North America and the other colonies believed that there was more bare land available for them to colonize. However, to their disappointment, the British government issued a Royal Proclamation that prohibited settlement of the West area of North America. They also authorized a troop of armies to manage the region.
