1) The Renaissance in Europe was a period of incredible creativity and expansion of ideas in the artistic realm in Italy AND in Northern Europe (the Netherlands, France, Germany, etc). The artworks created in those two regions of Europe tended to look DIFFERENT. Pick THREE artworks as examples, TWO from Italy and ONE from the Netherlands, and provide the 5 ID facts (artist? Title? The Italian Renaissance was characterized by the elements of light, landscape, figure composition, and altarpieces. "The Creation of Adam” is a fresco painting by Michael Angelo.
