Workers' health and well-being, absence from work, family life, turnover, and quality of life are all affected by occupational health problems. It is becoming increasingly difficult to overlook the essential elements that contribute to work-related stress. In their employment, nurses have reported significant levels of occupational stress. Some nurses have low life quality and high-stress levels because they rarely engage in their work experience. In this article, a study was conducted to establish reasons for high mental health rates among nurses.
Background of Study
During the study, two articles were chosen. The two articles deal with the topic of nursing burnout. They are concerned with nurses' well-being and how burnout and weariness at work influence their mental health. The research helps discuss nurses' mental health at work as a result of burnout and tiredness. The findings point to a variety of potential changes at the nursing job. The reviews will also aid in the reduction of mental health concerns among nurses by providing platforms for nurses to communicate issues and by ensuring that nurses are represented on key committees where they can voice their requirements.
The first article seeks to identify work-related issues among nurses, including weariness and burnout. The research also included a discussion with a group of nurses to identify stressors at work and make recommendations to local healthcare providers on how to care for their nurses. The second article sought to learn more about how nurses deal with stress and burnout at work. The study will help in fulfilling some objectives like how nurses deal with burnout and stress at work. Secondly, it will assess the job-related issue that nurses face at work and the impact of burnout and tiredness on nurses. Finally, the study will answer questions like what is the link between a nurse's performance and the exhaustion and stress they face at work? What is the relationship between work-related issues such as tiredness among nurses and their retention?.
How the Articles Support Nursing Practice
The two articles will address the PICOT question by looking at how tiredness and stress impact nursing performance and how the same issue affects nurse retention. The first article will look at the professionalism and performance of nurses. It also discusses the impact of stress and tiredness on nurses in their workplace. The studies also propose improvements that might be made and a work culture that could help bring good changes to nurses' working circumstances. The articles also aid nursing by facilitating a conversation between nurses about the sources of stress at their jobs. The two papers cover burnout amongst nurses, precisely as the PICOT question intends to find out, the solution and comparisons categories compare to those in the Picot question. The two sections also show the aspects of the nursing profession that need to improve to reduce stress and burnout among nurses.
