Related activities from academic institutions and pharmaceutical institutions have raised concerns over their involvement with children. Experimental medication with children in the midst of this process ought to come to a stop. Most of the drugs prescribed to children have been manufactured purposely for adults. Therefore, the natural bodily mechanisms lack the strength to cope with these medications. There is the case for capitalism in the pharmaceutical industry where companies are in the dire need to make as much financial returns as possible at the compromise of children. Children are a group of the disadvantaged population who are yet to attain the maturity levels of making concise decisions. Experimental medication is an unjustifiable procedure with the subsequent results indicating adverse consequences.
Little research is directed on the appropriate medication that children are supposed to take. This position places children to the risks of both their illnesses and the prescription they are given.
