Introduction
The conception that religion indirectly impacts social control stems from as long as man himself has existed. Religion constitutes an institution conceived to be wide-ranging and includes every aspect of mankind’s life. Commonly, all dynamics of life including; the social, cultural, as well as political facets in the U.S have been subject to influence by religion in very diverse forms (Wald, & Leege, n.d). It is on this perspective that religion is perceived to be tightly coupled to politics in history. This paper, hence, seeks to deliberate on spiritual beliefs and its impact on health policy process.
Influence of religious beliefs on health policy process
Away from plain politics, religion has been perceived to greatly influence health-care policy formulation, since it is much determined by discrepancies with regard to the state of an economy, democracy, and its influence on policy and practice.. Since most co-existing communities differ in religious ideologies, and from societal standards, the health-care implications and health care policies, especially in Europe, largely remains amorphous with regard to what constitutes legal and acceptable strategies to healthcare issues (Petrova and Clifford, 2009).
