Summary of Six articles on Resolving Shortage of Nurse
The nursing shortage is a global problem in healthcare. Most countries report a shortage, maldistributions, and misutilization of nurses (Dotson, Dave, & Cazier, 2012). Haryanto (2019) shares similar sentiment that the current nursing shortage is not a hesitation for employers to hire nurses because when the root causes of the root shortage are examined, it is the reality that the present-day nursing shortage is not a myth. Meta-analysis is a an effective tool to aggregating and summarizing the knowledge and to identify the net measure of a treatment’s outcome by combining several conclusions (Greco et al.,2013).
