Stages-of-Life and the influence of age on health care is a topic that encompasses many aspects, both physical and psychological. It is an issue that should be looked at in deep detail by those looking to improve their knowledge and understanding of health care. The stages of life span from birth to natural death and the many physical changes that occur during each stage are intertwined with the types and amounts of health care experienced at each stage. Relating the stages of life to health care at each stage is important because it allows for a better understanding of how patient behaviors and health needs change (Hagemeier, 2018). Health care is how individual human beings maintain health, prevent disease, reverse the effects of injury and degenerative conditions, and promote physical wellbeing. The stages of life include a newborn baby going through puberty as a teenager to an elderly man or woman (Tripodoro, 2020). The person changes, and their needs change during these stages. They require different amounts of health care at each stage of their life.
My stage in life had a huge impact on the type of healthcare received in the hospital. The healthcare needed by young people is based on their needs and activities that are a part of their lives. A young person is considered energetic, and their bodies tend to have higher immunity than those of infants and elderly people (Buntak, Kovačić & Martinčević, 2019).
