The campaign’s target audience is pregnant and postpartum women, their support system, and their healthcare providers (CDC, 2022). This campaign is effective because it not only shares information about the maternal warning signs but also shares stories of women who felt something was wrong, but their concerns were ignored. According to Martin (2018), an effective campaign shares information and provides arguments for supporting the suggested behavior.
