Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a disease condition that triggers frequent collapse or narrowing of pharyngeal air routes, interrupting proper breathing in a sleeping person. Jyothi et al. (2018) indicate that the pathophysiology of the diseases presents with a declining muscle tone with upper airway blockage at soft palate or tongue level. It leads to poor breathing rhythm with adverse problems. For instance, individuals suffer from arrhythmia, headache, fatigue, and drowsiness (Jyothi et al., 2018).
