Explain the Pathophysiological Problems A Patient Could Experience Associated with Obstructed Sleep Apnea (OSA)
Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a disease condition that triggers frequent collapse or narrowing of pharyngeal air routes, interrupting proper breathing in a sleeping person. Jyothi et al. (2018) indicate that the pathophysiology of the diseases presents with a declining muscle tone with upper airway blockage at soft palate or tongue level.
