Leadership and quality are the two important traits for success and they signify the importance of leadership qualities in an individual specializing in the field of healthcare. In nursing, the evidence-based practice is the widely used tool to establish an effective and productive organization. Leadership quality in nursing enhances the productivity and output of individuals. There is a significant improvement in the quality of care by the implementation of leadership traits (Sfantou et al., 2017). Moreover, a potential impact on the quality of care because of the leadership and workplace empowerment is found. A cross-sectional survey was done in Ontario, Canada on 378 nurses of different hospitals. The results showed significant improvement in patient care with a decline in adverse patient’s outcomes with effective workplace empowerment and leadership (Boamah, 2017).
