It is known to be the largest healthcare organization in terms of its revenue. In 2019, it registered revenue amounting to $242.2 billion. The Fortune 500 magazine ranked the company as the 6th best in terms of its total revenue. United Healthcare traces its roots in 1974, when Charter Med Incorporated was founded by Richard Taylor Burke (Phaniinvestors, 2017). In 1977, the reorganization of Charter Med Incorporated took place, which led to establishment of United Healthcare Corporation. In terms of staffing, the entity has a group of employees ranging from nurses to health service provider. It has centers in all regions of the country for easy access and service to the patients. Its staff are dedicated to the goals of the organization and ensure delivery of quality services. According to Spetz et al.
