Multiple health risks face community members, making their lives difficult. Monkeypox is one of the health risks reported by the American Center for Disease Control (CDC). This complication is a Zoonotic infection emanating from orthopoxvirus and is endemic in some parts of Africa. The Human and Health Services Department reported a Monkeypox outbreak in the U.S. on 4th August, 2022. According to the agency, the attack began on 17th May. CDC and other health sectors also noted that 2,891 cases were reported by 22nd July after the disease outbreak (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2022). More data indicates that 41% of all victims had HIV/AIDS infection.
Local, state, and federal firms like CDC have designed response approaches to expand testing, vaccination, and treatment. Public health models should prioritize bisexual, gay, and men who engage in sexual relations with fellow males and minimize stigma during treatments.
