The third-largest economy in the Eurozone and the eighth-largest in the world, Italy, is diverse. At USD2.106 trillion (USD34,997 per capita), the country's GDP in nominal terms is anticipated for 2021, yet there is a widening economic disparity between the north and south. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Italy's economy has also been badly impacted. There was an 8.9 percent drop in GDP in 2020. GDP is expected to have climbed by more than 5% as the vaccination campaign continues to gain momentum. A grand scheme of incentives and expansionary measures has been put in place by the administration.
The corporation should be concerned about several contract regulations. Italian law is expected not to apply if the job is done outside of Italy unless the parties have agreed to use Italian laws. There may still be special required foreign employment regulations specified by statute/legislation, even if this is the case.
