Mucor is a broad category of microbial genus comprising of about 6 mould species mostly found in digestive systems, soil, plant surfaces, rotten vegetable substance as well as the residue of iron oxide and tend to grow fast (Cornely et al., 2014). Fungi Mucor causes an infection known as Mucormycosis. The infection occurs in immunocompromised individuals come into contact with fungi or inhale spores.
