I have put enough effort into developing my career as a medical biller and a coder. The course has equipped me with enough knowledge of what is expected of me as a medical biller and coder. Among the skills include communication skills, especially in handling clients. I have developed an updated resume alongside a cover letter that I will use for job applications. I have undertaken some voluntary work that will go a long way in boosting my career (Moore & Pinsky, 2015).
Question 2
I have prepared enough for my career is enriching my overall experience in this field. My internship program helped me in getting the actual field experience. Volunteering in local community works, NGOs, as well as volunteering in hospital scenarios, have helped too. I have already applied for a license to operate as a medical biller and a coder that will see me operate with permission from the government.
My three immediate career objectives are to secure a job in a good company, join a junior mentorship team, and to get a promotion at work. Securing a job is the first on the list because it is the reasons, I studied this course. It will help me provide for my daily life needs. To achieve this goal, I have set a good base by sourcing for enough support towards getting a job. I have identified many potential firms that I am confident to apply for a job and stand a chance to be recruited. Joining a junior mentorship program is important for me because it will help me in dealing with work pressure as well as other life issues. This, in short, will provide moral support.
