Health promotion is a vital process in quality healthcare and disease prevention. The primary level of health promotion is conducted before the injury or illness (Hubley et al., 2021). It is mainly associated with preventing specific diseases from contracting a given population. Primary health promotion is similar to secondary and tertiary levels since they lead to patient safety and enhanced awareness. However, the main goal of primary health promotion is to prevent illness; for instance, constant exercising limits obesity. The health experts can conduct primary health promotion by teaching and creating awareness regarding specific lifestyles and nutrition, such as limiting sugary food to prevent diabetes.
