Write a six to eight (6-8) page paper in which you:
Determine key roles that human resource management plays in the health care field.
Evaluate three to five (3-5) functions of human resource management in terms of their level of support to the health care field, and then select which one you believe is the primary function in furthering the health care field.
Analyze the role of human resource management in an organization’s strategic plan.
Use at least three (3) quality academic resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and other Websites do not qualify as academic resources.

Any organization irrespective of the specification of the industry or operations cannot develop an efficient workforce without the involvement of effective human resource management practices. Human resource management involves all the aspects of the employees working within the boundaries of the organizations. The importance of human resource management is considered as one of the sources of profit generation for the organization.
1 Key Roles of HRM in Health Care Field
The role of human resource management (HRM) is crucial in the health care industry because of the intensity of labor involved in it. The healthcare industry is a highly labor-intensive industry, and for this reason, the involvement of HR regulations is mandatory for effective and efficient working. The department of HR is in charge of the talent acquirement, the implications of the labor law, and knowledge management. The HR managers within the healthcare industry are the actual catalysts within the organizational premises. They develop programs, services, and education to support the organization (Senthil, 2016). In addition to it, the HR plays certain key roles in the operational management of the healthcare industries including public and private hospitals and clinics.
1 Role of HRM in Efficient Team Development
The most important role of HRM is to ensure the hunt, recruitment and the retention of the most qualified doctor candidates and other paramedical staff members. The HR managers in the hospitals of public and private sectors strive to find potential employees through different media including advertisements and screenings (Senthil, 2016). After the selection of the perfect candidates for the hospital, the HR management works to develop and train employees as per the required working conditions and ensure the individuals understand the tasks outlined in their job description.
2 Role of HRM for future Growth of Personnel
Due to the nature of work and its implications upon the patients, it is critical that a health care facility is staffed with appropriate and efficient personnel. Therefore, the role of HR managers is quite important in this regard. The HR manager plans and then conducts the assortment of appropriate candidates for important positions. The HRM make sure that the newly-hired workforce obtains labor efficiency certificates from the department of their local country which facilitates the legal documentation of the hospital workforce for future development (Senthil, 2016). The role of human resource management also covers the updated aspects of particular rules, regulations and employment legislation governing the health care system in the home country.
3 Role of HRM for Adequate Delivery of Better Services
Another key role of HRM in the healthcare intensive industry is to make sure the adequate delivery of the appropriate services at the right time and the right places. It is also the main point that HRM strives for having less number of complaints from the concerning patients and thus preventing from the occurrence of any mishap of incidents. The HR manager is the in charge of making timely evaluation reports of the existing employees in the healthcare facility. Therefore, he or she must ensure that the routine performance of the recruits and old employees is worth considering to meet the standard benchmarks.
