In 2015, the program assisted about 9500 individuals diagnosed with TB in the United States (Onwubiko, Wall, Sales, & Holland, 2019). Through the program, a group of medical personnel are assigned to a particular site for data collection and treatment of individuals. Through the data collected, the patients can be registered as individuals who are suffering from the disease. When the patients are unable to come and take their medication, the medical personnel are able to visit their homes to establish the reasons behind their failure to take their medicine. The outcomes on the people are always favorable. The medical officers utilize their skills and knowledge to ensure that a person is healthy (Onwubiko, Wall, Sales, & Holland, 2019).
