Dissemination of research evidence is the planned approach of getting the research findings to the right audience that will make use of the results (Brownson et al., 2018). Research work finds meaning when the findings are disseminated to the potential users. In today’s era of digital marketing, dissemination of research evidence should aim at creating awareness both at the local and international level. Proper circulation of research evidence helps the intended audience make informed decisions, leading to a positive outcome for patients and other stakeholders. This paper discusses how evidence from the research will be shared and be distributed to nursing professional organizations, journals, conferences, and publications to introduce change in the health care sector and improve service delivery.
The present study will target four primary stakeholders. The first group is a professional organization such as the American Nursing Association (ANA). According to Owoade (n.d.), dissemination of research findings and knowledge in professional organizations creates a room for the organizations to make informed decisions on the quality of health care. Since the goal of this research is to transform the treatment and management of chronic diseases in the aging population, ANA will use the information by rethinking the importance of training nurses as leaders. Additionally, ANA participates in the publication of research findings. Future researchers interested in this topic can easily find information on the organization’s website. Nurses can also utilize the evidence to improve the quality of service for patients.
Another strategy of disseminating information for this study is through web publications such as blogs and advertisements in mainstream media. Once the study is complete, the researcher will partner with peer reviewing journal publications such as the National Institute of Health (NIH), National Institute for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), and the World Health Organization (WHO).
