Access the "Allied Health Community" media and select "Scenarios" to access the scenarios for this course. Review the instructions and legend information. Read the Hospital Scenario for this course and complete the following assignment:
Write a 500‐750 word paper that addresses the following:
Evaluate the management styles and identify the positive and negatives of each manager's characteristics.
Identify what transactional and transformational leadership theories are present.
Provide an example of how one leader mentioned in the case study could adapt the servant leadership model into practice, and how this change could have an impact on a quality improvement department within health care.
Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

Different Management Styles and the Positives and Negatives of Each Manager’s Characteristics
After reviewing the scenarios of Allied Health Community Media, I have found that Tomas and Rachel are the two managers who have different management styles. The management style of Rachel can be regarded as authoritative, and at some points, I have noticed dictatorship. It is evident that Rachel wants her employees to work for extra hours so that they can become her favorites. The authoritative leadership style of this manager is based on the idea that she gives them clear instructions and wants them to achieve success in all projects. Rachel believes in organizing the team based on the ideas she has in her mind. This is the first positive of the manager as it allows workers to work together to achieve a specific goal and to meet the deadlines. The second positive is that Rachel gives them bonuses or rewards based on their overall performance. A core negative is that Rachel is not regular at giving bonuses. Instead, she chooses employees for rewards or bonuses carefully, and sometimes discrimination is taken into account.
On the other hand, Tomas has been found exhibiting the democratic management style. He knows how to keep the attention of his team intact throughout the day and emphasizes the need to achieve a common goal (Ewest, 2017). One of the core advantages of this management style is that the involvement of the team is ensured. Tomas participates in group discussions and encourages them to help one another, and this is a second plus point.
