Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a health condition characterized by chronic body muscle pain and fatigue. The problem is accompanied further by sleep problems, memory, and mood issues, with symptoms resulting from events such as surgery, physical trauma, psychological stress, or infections. Any person can be affected by the disorder, though women are more prone to have fibromyalgia than men (Aster et al., 2022). Genetic, infections or emotional factors lead to changes in nerve stimulation in the brain and spinal cord. Pain receptors in the human brain develop memory loss, become sensitized, and overreact to painful or non-painful signals.
Typically, there is no definitive diagnosis method for fibromyalgia. The disease evaluation or confirmation is clinically based on symptoms and physical examinations.
