In Christianity, the biblical narrative describes the nature of God as the creator of heaven and earth and everything in it. Also, it describes God's intention to humankind which is to make them flourish and when they obey His word (Rev. Dr. Condie, 2020). In addition, it conveys the reality of punishment, such as sickness when Christians disobey God and healing as redemption and forgiveness of sin. Thus, the Christian biblical narrative talks about the nature of God in four parts; creation, fall, redemption, and restoration.
In the creation narrative, God created humans in his image ( FairChild,2020). He made the first man (Adam) and the first woman (Eve) and placed them in the Garden of Eden ( paradise of abundance ). While in the garden, they were given instructions not to consume fruits from a tree in the middle but could use the rest to thrive in the glory of God. They did not follow instructions and ate the fruit in the middle. As a result of their temptations, they were subjected to human suffering as a result of their disobedience.
