WIDA Guiding Principle
I selected the World-Class Instructional Design and Assessment (WIDA) principle number six. In particular, it shows how multilingual learners develop and use language via different activities that integrate numerous modalities, which include kinesthetic, written, visual, and oral modes of communication. Teachers should understand that using various teaching modalities is crucial for multilingual learners since some of these students might understand visual learning better than oral teaching or otherwise. When modalities are interchanged, all learners have high chances of learning various concepts since they concentrate on what works the best for them.
The best way to implement the WIDA principle number six is by ensuring that teachers develop written, oral, kinesthetic, and visual learning materials for their students.
