Directions: Read the "SPD-581 Transition Plan Case Study" and use the information provided to formulate transition goals and aligned activities for Thomas.
Education and Training:
Goals:
1.Improve on social skills.
2. Think positive and stay focuses
Aligned Activities:
1. Thomas should be participating in daily social skills classes so that he can improve on his communication which is one of the major challenges identified by the Auto tech instructor.
2. Thomas should be encouraged to remain positive and be motivated that he is doing good to keep on improving.

Employment:
Goals:
1. Learn everything about cars.
2. Get a driving licence.
Aligned Activities:
1. Thomas will be working continuously with his uncle Mike and the auto tech instructor to learn as much more about cars as possible.
2. He can attend driving classes until he comprehends everything and passes the driving test.

Independent Living: (Identify two goals and aligned activities that can help the student achieve each goal.)
Goals:
1. Be able to cook for himself
2. Be able to manage the little that he gets to settle for his rent.
Aligned Activities:
1. Thomas should start training to cook for himself and do several things by himself. This will train him to be independent.
2. Thomas should be paid some money as he goes to work for his uncle and be monitored on how he spends the money. He should be trained to manage his finances to cater to his wants.
