Time management involves proper planning and organizing to ensure that available time is divided well between specific activities. As a teacher, good time management skills foster efficiency and productivity, reduce stress levels, and increase an individual’s opportunities to achieve crucial goals in career and life. On the contrary, the failure to managing time effectively can have adverse consequences. For instance, it might cause workflow inefficiency, missed deadlines, high-stress levels, poor quality of work, and can damage one’s professional reputation (Zafarullah & Pertti, 2017). In that light, proper time management is an essential skill that all teachers should have to facilitate effectiveness and efficiency when undertaking their duties.
If I have fifty videos from my students that should be evaluated within a week, I will exercise my time management skills.
