Chapter three has been very significant in showing how a teacher can use different types of assessments in the classroom. In particular, teachers should always ensure that learners understand various concepts taught in the class to apply them in real life (Brown & Abeywickrama, 2010). Having never experienced a design classroom, I have been sceptical about how it facilitates the learning process. However, chapter three has clarified and reminded me of why I took public speaking and debate class. As a teacher, it is always good to ensure that learners can comprehend things in the classroom to enable them to pass their assessments.
I learned how to use the American Sign Language (ASL) to speak with the public on the church stage at a young age. I communicated with the audience well.
