Week 1 and 3 video presentations are eye-opening on what to expect and what I should deliver to the audience. Learning about non-verbal cues and putting the theory in the video presentations to practice in terms of body movements, eye contact, and tone valuation underlined the importance of being prepared and organized as a speaker. My line of work makes public display inevitable during meetings and zoom conferences. Finding a way to connect with the audience is essential in eradicating non-verbal communication barriers, especially in a cultural setting. The video presentations offered a good chance of being well perceived by the targeted audience.
