Conflict Log
I took up the challenge to concentrate on my negative thoughts within a week and recorded the themes that emerged from them. The themes that emerged include selfishness, pessimism, worry, unstable mood, and rumination. Selfishness, in my thought, was based on how the able members of the society or the sharp students behave towards the weak ones. The able member in a community setting often does not want to help the helpless. Instead, the strong team up and often help each other willingly. Pessimism theme emerged in that negative thought leads to a loss of hope. This, in turn, make people’s mood unstable. Finally, rumination is the recurrence of negative thoughts, a major theme during my one-week conflict log.
