Social media is a phenomenon that is going to stay with us into the foreseeable future. The different social platforms offer great avenues for companies to recruit new employees. I think a key advantage of recruiting employees using social media is filtering the best ones that match the organizational goals and strategy. If employees apply directly using their social media profiles, as is the case with LinkedIn, companies can easily filter out potential employees not aligned with their strategy.
