Professional nursing organizations, such as the American Nurses Association (ANA and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), promote the nursing profession, practice, interests, and better health care. The AACN has worked closely with health stakeholders to empower critical care nurses, inspiring them to promote quality health care through this partnership.
