Completing performance reviews for employees is healthy for the development of any organization, although the reviews do have both advantages and disadvantages. The reviews can be on, around the employees’ anniversary date, on, or around the end of the fiscal years. In comparison, the two dates of possible performance reviews differ in their advantages and disadvantages. Foremost, the advantages of performance reviews at the end of the fiscal year outweigh those of the anniversary dates (Langdon & Osborne, 2001). Completing the performance reviews at the end of every fiscal year encourages the employees to set their targets within a term of one year because the beginning of every fiscal year is known different from employees’ anniversary that may not have regular time frames to allow employees set targets.
