One of the most common yet most effective tricks of merchandisers is using the various marketing techniques that could influence a buyer's consumer behavior without him knowing. This subtle approach towards merchandising allows the merchandiser to leverage his buyer's impulsive behavior to influence him in buying something that he does not need. Although there have been many times when I fell for this myself, one of the most interesting tactics that I saw was that of Chobani's Greek yogurt.
