The customer service team is facing issues of miscommunication, and, therefore, the target audience for this program will be the customer service members for both the front and back office. This has led to the interruption of a lot of programs, hence resulting in confusions in the workplace and poor performance.
The key solution to this issue is to ensure that all the important information that ought to be communicated to the customer service team is done in the presence of every member. To effect this, mandatory meetings will be held whenever an important issue has to be communicated. As a result, this will reduce the communication of the wrong information that could, in turn, lead to the employees carrying out tasks in a different manner as compared to the rest of the team.
Also, the leaders of the customer service team will ensure that they send clear emails to the team members describing the duties required of the subordinates at the beginning of every week. The person responsible for sending the email will ensure that they follow up or get a receipt acknowledgment from each member of the customer service team. Hence, this will reduce the chances of having employees that never got the information (Colbert, Yee & George, 2016).
The team members will be required to submit a report of the day's activities at the end of the day. As a result, the leaders will be able to identify the areas that need improvements and offer a timely communication hence enhancing the smooth running of activities.
